I am so thrilled that Jambo is able to come and share with us his passion for yoga and his wealth of knowledge and experience. Come and join us for a wonderful workshop day.

Jambo is a multi-disciplinary practitioner and facilitates sessions that are both educational and self-developing. As a Forrest Yoga Guardian & Mentor Teacher, he also holds a degree in Complementary Medicine with a special interests in diagnostic techniques.

Jambo spent the first part of his career working with addiction, sexual health, chronic pain and trauma. Using concepts from Traditional East Asian & Ayurvedic Medicine as a symptom management specialist. Currently he teaches internationally, passionately sharing the discovery compensation patterns and developmental physiology.
The day will consist of two parts:

Part 1: 2-5.30pm Functional Anatomy of Shoulders. £60.00

This masterclass is a condensed collection of shoulder wisdom every yoga teacher and movement enthusiast wants to know about.

We will explore the anatomy of how breathing and core stability directly effects shoulder strength and mobility with extra attention paid on the shoulder joints. We will explore how these joints are involved in yoga poses as well as using yoga poses to diagnose the conditions of the joints which will enable us to understand what poses to prescribe for various movement limitations.

You do not need to be a yoga teacher to attend this section. £60 and it is not non stop yoga


Part 2 : Evening class: 6.30-8.30 pm, Arm Balance Play Workshop. £35.00

In this workshop we will explore the foundations of shoulder stability within yoga poses and learn how to adapt this ‘sense-of-stability’ to progressive wall work that is designed to help practitioners gain mastery over their own bodyweight.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to improve their arm-balance and inversion game in a way that honours the stability and strength that you currently have. There will be various progressions that you can take home and integrate into your own personal practise.

Wrist optimisation work is also included for those who are sensitive in this area as well as other progressions that offer shoulder stability using forearm variations of inversions and arm balances.

£60 for Part 1 and £35 for Part 2 or £85 for both.
